It is necessary to note that DASJ does not publish manuscript with a similarity index of 20% or more.

All new submissions to DASJ are screened using Turnitin system. Editorial Board Member may also choose to run a similarity report at any other point during the review process or post-publication. The default similarity report view gives the percentage of the text of the manuscript which has overlap with one or more published articles. Figures and equations cannot be checked at present. Note that a high similarity score does not necessarily indicate plagiarized text. A similarity of more than 20% in the text of a manuscript will be returned to the author to remove the similarities and reduce the chance of plagiarism.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

1 . Journal ensure that an editor or other staff will verify the automated detection of integrity issues such as text similarity, figure manipulation or duplication, or undeclared generative AI use, or automated peer reviewer suggestions.

2. The artificial intelligence (AI) index must be less than 15%.

3. The author(s) declare that they did not use AI or AI-assisted in the text generation process, these technologies must be used only to improve readability and language. Applying the technology should be done with human oversight and control, and authors should carefully review and edit the result, as AI can generate incorrect, incomplete or biased information.

4. The author(s) did not list or cite AI or AI-assisted technologies as an author or co-author, as authorship implies responsibilities and contributions that can only be attributed to humans.

5. The author(s) also confirm that no generative AI or AI-assisted tools were used to create or modify any images, figures, or artwork (such as graphical abstracts) in the submitted manuscript.
